Fall in love with Satin – Fabric Friday

Satin can be tricky and slippy to sew with, but we don’t want that to put you off sewing this wonderful, luxurious fabric. Whether you’re sewing a beautiful nightdress or a fabulous party top we have a great round up of satin fabrics along with some hints and tips on how to manage it on the sewing machine.

There are also some great inspiration pieces out on the high street to show you just what you can make in this fluid, opulent fabric.

 Satin looks great in nightwear, it is cool and comfortable to wear in bed.

There is so much inspiration out there on the High Street to help you sew some amazing selfless gifts this Christmas.  Debenhams, Primark and Marks and Spencer have a great selection this season.
