From unicorns to flamingos, we love novelty prints

We are dreaming this week of unicorns, flamingos, koala bears and all things cute and fun!

Novelty prints add a child-like charm to your sewing, so why not add a sprinkle of sewing fairy dust by making a favourite pattern in one of our amazing fabric finds? There are so many wonderful novelty prints to choose from that you will find it hard to only choose one!

Do you have a favourite novelty animal or theme that you are always drawn to when sewing?

Feel inspired by Cath Kidston, who prides herself on her kooky and fun prints, to go ahead and make your own statement clothing piece or accessory.

Our first find were these gorgeous monochrome prints by Remnant House – we particularly love the sewing-themed prints, which would look great in a dirndl skirt or button blouse.

Our next great finds are these super-vibrant novelty prints from Sew Scrumptious. We love that the racoons, foxes and sheep are hiding in these prints.

This sweet Michael Miller hedgehogs print is scattered with little hearts, and the fun pug print below from Plush Addict, is perfect for dog lovers! How cute are those glasses?
